Carolyn is originally from the Washington, D.C. area and now happily calls Florida home. She loves spending time on the water—especially fishing or relaxing at the beach whenever she gets the chance.
Carolyn truly enjoys her work and finds fulfillment in helping people and caring for their pets. She believes in treating everyone with kindness and respect, and strives to make every client and patient feel welcomed and supported.

Jeannelle is a Certified Veterinary Technician and proud graduate of St. Petersburg College’s Veterinary Technology program. She is deeply committed to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care and advocating for her patients at every stage of life.
She has a special love for large breed dogs and shares her home with her Great Dane, Arys, and her cat, Storm. Her professional interests include emergency medicine, where she thrives in fast-paced environments, as well as geriatric and end-of-life care. Jeannelle considers it an honor to support both patients and their families during vulnerable moments, ensuring comfort, dignity, and empathy.
Driven by strong values of patient advocacy, teamwork, and clinical excellence, she treats every patient as if they were her own. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys reading, gaming, cosplay, and paddleboarding.
Anna is a proud Florida native and a graduate of Eckerd College, where she earned her degree in Animal Studies. During her time there, she gained valuable hands-on experiences through her work with the Eckerd College Search and Rescue team.
She joined our team in July 2024, bringing with her a strong interest in animal behavior and a deep commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to every patient.
Outside the clinic, Anna enjoys relaxing at Ft. De Soto Beach with her dog, Ladybug, and spending cozy evenings watching movies with friends. Her calm presence, thoughtful approach, and genuine love for animals make her a valued member of our team.

Angela is a dedicated Hospital Manager with over 30 years of experience in the veterinary field. She earned her Certified Veterinary Technician degree from St. Petersburg College and later pursued a Bachelor of Science from the University of South Florida. She is also a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) through the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association (VHMA). Passionate about animal care from a young age, Angela feels fortunate to have built a lifelong career in the field.
When she’s not managing the hospital, Angela loves spending time with her family and enjoying the outdoors. She stays active by kayaking, paddling, hiking and playing pickleball. Whether she’s exploring nature or simply relaxing with her daughters, she values making the most of her time outside. She also shares her home with two dogs and a cat.
Dr. Nicole Hamisak is a St. Petersburg native with a lifelong passion for animals, having grown up surrounded by a variety of species, including dogs, cats, horses, and reptiles. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from St. George’s University and completed her clinical training at Louisiana State University, where she focused on companion animal general practice, emergency medicine, and surgery.
From an early age—even before kindergarten—Dr. Hamisak knew she wanted to become a veterinarian. Throughout her career, she has gained extensive experience in general practice, dental procedures, urgent care, emergency medicine, and surgery. While her expertise spans multiple areas, she is particularly passionate about caring for geriatric patients, performing surgical procedures, and handling emergency surgeries. She is committed to providing exceptional veterinary care with a strong emphasis on communication and client education, always striving to help as many animals as possible.
Outside of work, Dr. Hamisak enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters. Her favorite hobby is horseback riding, and she cherishes every moment with her beloved Quarter Horse, Bobsy.
Dr. Madelyn Waleski grew up in the Chicagoland area and pursued her passion for veterinary medicine at the University of Illinois, where she earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. After practicing in the Chicagoland area for several years, she relocated to Sunny St. Petersburg to continue her career in veterinary care.
With a strong interest in surgery, integrative medicine, and client education, Dr. Waleski is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care while empowering pet owners with the knowledge they need to support their pets’ health.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Waleski enjoys boating, scuba diving, kayaking, and traveling. She loves spending time at the beach with her two beloved dogs, Chief and Copper.
Dr. Brett Zager is a Florida native, born and raised in Miami. He earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. With a strong passion for veterinary care, he has a particular interest in wound management, clinical pathology, and integrative medicine.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Zager cherishes time spent with his family, including their two large dogs. He enjoys an active lifestyle filled with running, kayaking, hiking, and traveling, with a personal goal of visiting at least two National Parks each year. When he’s not exploring the outdoors, he enjoys discovering St. Pete’s vibrant local restaurant and bar scene and is a proud supporter of locally owned small businesses.
